CAU Library is pleased to present new material not only in our physical library located on campus, but additional online resources for easier access for students and faculty members as well. The new website has a new format which guides patrons to useful resources for professional development, research, and academic materials. We have begun to build our new e-library which includes an online catalogue through Library World that allows users to browse our current holdings, check the status of loans, and reserve materials remotely.

We have also acquired “DIGITAL KYOBO SCHOLAR DATABASE”, an online database vendor that allows faculty and students to access the latest journals and research from a variety of fields. CAU Library has also added many books to our library in order to broaden our library collection for your academic goals. Please come and explore our new and improved space! Kyobo E-Book Digital Library

​CAU Library provides Students & Faculty the “Kyobo Ebook Digital Library” allowing each library patron to have access to a variety of e-books, full-text, and publications. It is available 24/7 though internet access, allowing students and faculty access according to their schedule.

Kyobo eBooks has access to an extensive number of Korean eBooks. To read books from Kyobo eBooks, you need to have a personal account. Please contact the university librarian for your account.

Anytime, anywhere, anyone can use Kyobo Ebook Digital Library as follows:

​CAU Library offers Students & Faculty the “HAKSOL eArticle” web databases allowing each library patron to have access to a variety of e-books, full-text articles, and periodical publications, journals, and newspapers. It is available 24/7 though internet access, allowing students and faculty access according to their schedule.

Through the Web Database online collections, students and faculty have access to journal publishers. Each publisher has numerous databases that can be searched by Subject or search individual databases for reference information.

California Arts University researchers can search for reference materials such as encyclopedias, dictionaries, and almanacs as well as full-text articles from journals, newspapers and magazines across multidisciplinary subjects.

Please ask Credentials at the library reference desk.

To access web database, go to the homepage at http://www.earticle.net/ and enter your institutional name, ID and password. Note that on the database, there is a search box that allows you to directly query across vendors using our federated search service.

.Library and Information Resources Network, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) consortium of many private colleges and universities.  California Arts University subscribes to two LIRN vendor database packages called GALE CENGAGE, and Oxford Music Online.  GALE CENGAGE partners with college and university librarians to collect, preserve, and organize rare content as part of their extensive collection of primary source archives and educational databases—bringing resources that are specifically designed for online learning into the classroom.  Our LIRN package with GALE CENGAGE houses full-text, peer reviewed journal articles, magazine and newspaper articles, e-books and other media with citations for MLA 9nth Edition, APA 7th Edition, Chicago 17th Edition, and Harvard citation tools.  Our LIRN package also includes Oxford Music Online of Oxford University Press, the home of Grove Music Online – the world’s premier online music encyclopedia, offering comprehensive coverage of music, musicians, music-making, and music scholarship.

It will be helpful to your research to select the option “Vendor View” in order to have access to all documents included in our subscription.  Once there, you will see GALE CENGAGE and Oxford Music Online.
