MACMP Program 

A Program designed for advanced musicians seeking to refine their craft, develop performance skills, and expand their professional network. Specialization may include performance, composition, and computer music.

MACMP Program Learning Outcome

Graduates of the MACMP program will: ➢ Demonstrate advanced harmonic and stylistic practices in performance. ➢ Exhibit the technical and artistic skills required for contemporary music settings. ➢ Perform music across various contemporary styles. ➢ Apply technology for recording and music distribution. ➢ Develop a strong artistic identity and personal vision in their performance work.

MACMP Program Requirements

To earn the Master of Arts in Contemporary Music Performance (MACMP), students must:

  • Complete 45 credits (typically over 2.5 years).

  • Earn at least 36 credits (80% of coursework) at CAU.

  • Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

  •  Complete a graduation recital.
