Early College

“Early College” refers to courses taught to high school students for which the students receive both high school credit and college credit, regardless of location or mode of delivery. This would include courses and programs that may be offered under different names such as “Dual Enrollment,” “Dual Credit,” or “Concurrent Enrollment.” Students may earn less than 25% of any program offered at the institution via dual enrollment.

1. Faculty

The institution ensures faculty qualifications for those who provide instruction for dual enrollment courses. These faculty members possess the same academic credentials and/or documented professional experience required by the institution of all of its faculty.

2. Curriculum and Instruction

For all dual enrollment courses offered, the institution employs sound practices for determining the amount and level of credit awarded. Course content and rigor of dual enrollment courses are comparable to that of the same courses taught to the institution’s other students.

3. Library and Learning Resources

Dual enrollment students have access to library / learning resources, and students are able to use such resources effectively. The institution ensures that students have access to regular and timely instruction in the use of library / learning resources.

4. Academic and Student Support Services

Academic support services for the courses and programs are offered. Institution ensures that dual enrollment students are advised regarding the collegiate curriculum. Student support services are provided for dual enrollment students.

Institution has a published procedure for resolving written student complaints and follow its policies and procedures. The institution ensures that its dual enrolled students are oriented regarding their rights and responsibilities. Documented procedures assure that security of personal information is protected.

5. Admissions

The institution ensures that potential dual enrollment students are prepared for college-level courses. Dual enrollment students are usually admitted under exceptions to an institution’s published admissions policies, and the institution follow commonly accepted practices in making such exceptions.

Advertising, recruiting, the ability to transfer credit earned in dual enrollment programs and courses, and admissions information represent the programs, requirements, and services available to students. The institution ensures that registration and transcription practices for dual enrollment students are consistent with those in effect for all other students.

6. Facilities

Dual enrollment courses are offered in adequate physical facilities, whether under the control of the institution or under the control of the high school where dual enrolment courses are taken.

“조기 입학”은 고등학교 학생들이 장소나 수업의 전달 방식에 관계없이 고등학교 학점과 대학 학점을 동시에 취득하는 과정을 의미합니다. 여기에는 “이중 등록”, “이중 학점” 또는 “동시 등록”과 같은 다른 이름으로 제공될 수 있는 과정 및 프로그램이 포함됩니다. 학생들은 이중 등록을 통해 기관에서 제공하는 모든 프로그램의 25% 미만 학점을 얻을 수 있습니다.

1. 교수진

학교는 이중 등록 과정을 제공하는 교수들의 자격을 보장합니다. 교수진은 기관에서 모든 교수진에게 요구하는 것과 동일한 학업 자격 또는 문서화된 전문 경험을 보유하고 있습니다.

2. 커리큘럼 및 지도

이중 등록 과정의 내용은 다른 대학생들에게 가르치는 과정의 내용과 동일한 수준입니다.

3. 도서관 및 학습 자료

이중 등록 학생은 도서관/학습 자원에 접근할 수 있으며, 학생이 이러한 자원을 효과적으로 사용할 수 있도록 지원합니다. 학생들이 도서관/학습 자원을 사용하는 데 있어 정기적이고 시기적절한 교육을 받을 수 있도록 지원합니다.

4. 학업 및 학생 지원 서비스

제공되는 코스와 프로그램을 위해 학업 지원 서비스를 제공합니다. 이중 등록 학생이 대학 커리큘럼에 대해 적절하게 조언을 받을 수 있도록 적합한 학생 지원 서비스를 제공합니다.

학생 불만을 해결하기 위한 적절하고 공개된 절차를 가지고 있으며, 이러한 정책과 절차를 따르고 있습니다. 이중 등록 학생의 권리와 책임을 위해 개인 정보는 철저하게 보호됩니다.

5. 입학

이중 등록 학생이 대학 수준의 과정을 준비할 수 있도록 지원합니다. 이중 등록 학생은 일반적으로 예외에 따라 입학이 허용되며, 해당 기관은 그러한 예외를 만드는 데 있어 일반적으로 인정되는 관행을 따르고 있습니다.

광고, 모집 및 입학 정보는 학생들이 이용할 수 있는 프로그램, 이중 등록 프로그램 및 과정에서 취득한 학점을 양도할 수 있는 능력에 관한 진술 및 기타 진술, 요구 사항 및 서비스를 안내하고 있습니다. 이중 등록 학생을 위한 등록 과정은 다른 모든 대학생에게 유효한 것과 동일한 과정으로 진행이 됩니다.

6. 시설

이중 등록 과정은 California Arts University 또는 고등학교의 시설에서 제공됩니다.
